Education: Bachelors in Finance & Graduate certificate in Accounting from University of Washington
I have been very active in nonprofit community work since high school in Jamaica. Volunteering for an environmental nonprofit is what brought me to the Northwest. In my first year of community college I started devoting most of my volunteering time to tutoring kids in Seattle. While I volunteer my time tutoring kids in college, I developed my professional skill as a finance analyst by working in the corporate and nonprofit environment. I worked for AmeriCorps giving financial advice to individuals with disabilities and low income. In the corporate space I worked at bank of America in back office ATM cash flow and transaction. I currently enjoy working as a Finance Analyst for Intel Corporation and using my free time to strengthen ADYA’s Sankofa Tutoring program which provide help to the kids that are most in need.
